FRP Winding Production Line 1.1 CFW Line for FRP Pipes This line is consisted of platform, lifting platform, raw material feeding area, heating element, headstock, bedplate, assembled modules, weight support, poly-furnace, anti-twist system, photo-electric tracing cutting, lifting platform support, etc. 1.2Principle The steel belt in the form of the helix covering on the top of the principal axis, supporting round plate and aluminum beam, which are formed the module on the columned-shaped wheel hub. The steel belt is conveying forward by continuous axle with the promotion of the cam and thruster. When the main axis is back from the center of the main axis to the other end of the axis by the device of backtrack of the steel belt, through the tensioning device of the steel belt and the guiding device forming a closed round ring. The surface of the steel belt in the round form is the built-in module of the fibre-glass reinforced polyester pipes. Changing the specification of the supporting round plate can manufacture the different pipes. With the lower cost and shorter cycle period, the built-in modules, they are differ with the traditional one, which are not only with higher cost, longer cycle period, lower efficiency and higher consumption of raw material, but also one module just for one specification. During the time of manufacturing FRP pipes, for the continuous conveying by the steel belt, the pipes are coming out successively, the moulding pipes disengaging automatically from the production line, which not only in high efficiency but also economizing raw material. The steel band mandrel is formed by winding a continuous steel band over horizontal beams inserted in the supporting discs sized according to the internal diameter of the pipe required. The steel band moves in the axial direction sliding over the ball bearings in longitudinal beam grooves. At the end of the mandrel, the steel band is guided by the exit head into the mandrel’s inner tube. On the opposite end of the mandrel near the cam, the steel band is wound on the mandrel again. In this way the steel band forms a smooth surface mandrel and provides a means to move the product in the axial direction.Changing the specification of the supporting discs can manufacture pipe of different diameter.
